Former At-Large Councilor Cheryl Tully Stoll and D3 resident says voters should pick Mary Kate Feeney on Jan. 11.

The following is a letter to the editor and does not reflect the views of Framingham Patch
I am writing today to express my support for Mary Kate Feeney for the District 3 City Council Seat. There will be a special election on Jan. 11. If you vote at Brophy Elementary School, you live in District 3.
Mary Kate is a candidate of substance who has shown that through her thoughtful work on Framingham’s Strategic Initiatives and Financial Oversight Committee and many other volunteer activities in our community. Her many thoughtful and well researched articles on issues facing Framingham have been informative and well-received.

Mary Kate is a worker. She spent the entire summer knocking on doors and engaging with voters in our district regarding their concerns and issues that they care about. This is the type of feet on the street outreach that will give us responsive District Council Member who knows us. When you let the people you represent set the agenda instead of a political ideology or party you can truly be a representative of the people you serve.
Please join me in supporting Mary Kate Feeney on Jan. 11. As our city moves forward and recovers from the mismanagement of the past few years, our district deserves a hands-on councilor who will roll up her sleeves, do the work and respond proactively to the issues that affect us.
