FRAMINGHAM, MA — The 2019 Framingham election is big, and a little complicated.

There are 20 seats up for election between the City Council and School Committee, and 10 of them are contested. (Not to mention there are six library and two cemetery trustee seats on the ballot.)

Four of the six Council races have no incumbent — although you might count the at-large race, which includes incumbent George King Jr. and two candidates vying for the seat Cheryl Tully Stoll is leaving.

Over at the School Committee, there's an interesting phenomenon playing out: four committee members — Gloria Pascual, Noval Alexander, Ricky Finlay, and Tracey Bryant — are running for City Council. But only one incumbent School Committee member, Scott Wadland, is facing a challenge. Pascual and Bryant's seats are the only other two contests in the School Committee race.

To help get your arms around this election before Nov. 5, Patch has put together a voting guide to help you pick candidates and find your nearest polling location — plus other pertinent election information.
