Framingham Apartment Fire Could Be Arson Case

No people were injured in the fire, but four residents of the Worcester Road apartment complex were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Worcester Road apartment complex fire didn't result in any injuries, but fire officials believe it could have been set intentionally.

A fire was reported at about 3:50 a.m. on Monday at 1630 Worcester Rd.

"A great job was done by all crews involved in knocking down the working fire in frigid temperatures," Framingham fire officials said.

Though no injuries were reported, four residents of the complex were taken to MetroWest Medical Center.

Fire Chief Michael Dutcher also told media that the department has "some reason to believe" that the fire was set intentionally.
