Barn Fire Extinguished On Grove Street, Investigation Begins
The Monday fire closed a portion of Grove Street while officials worked to extinguish the blaze. Officials don't suspect foul play.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A fire on Grove Street in Framingham damaged a garage and a barn, and shut down a local road for much of the morning.
Firefighters extinguished a two-alarm barn fire at 1103 Grove Street this morning.

A neighbor called to report the fire to the department around 9:40 a.m., which prompted a response from 31 firefighters, city officials said.
Framingham Engine 7, Engine 1, Tower 1, Rescue 1 & Car 2 responded. Engine 7 on arrival found a fully involved fire at a detached garage, with an extension to a nearby barn structure on the property, said the Framingham Fire Chief, in a news release from the city.

The fire was eventually knocked down and is currently being investigated, though officials said it looks accidental.
Grove Street was closed from Edmands Road to Winch Street due to the fire, officials said around 10:30 a.m.
