Framingham Candidate Forum To Focus On Environmental Issues
The "Green City Council Candidates Forum" will focus on environmental and sustainability issues.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — With preliminary elections out of the way and the field of city council candidates narrowed in a few districts, an upcoming forum will bring environmental issues to the forefront. The "Green City Council Candidates Forum" is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
Hosted by sustainable Framingham, the forum will focus on environmental and sustainability issues. Nearly 20 candidates are expected to attend. The forum will be held at First Parish Church, located at 24 Vernon St.
The forum will be broken up into three parts, the first being the reception followed by a presentation by the candidates. The last part of the forum is save for questions prepared by Sustainable Framingham and questions from the audience.

The forum is sponsored by First Parish’s Climate Action Team, Massachusetts Sierra Club, 350 MetroWest Node, and Sustainable Framingham.
