Framingham D3 Councilor Steiner Picks Up Labor Endorsements
Three labor groups are backing two-term incumbent Adam Steiner as unions make picks ahead of Nov. 2.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Incumbent District 3 Councilor Adam Steiner picked up three key labor endorsements this week with the backing of the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, Carpenters Local 336, and Laborers Local 609.
The endorsements come with just a few days left before Election Day, and as labor groups make key picks in a Framingham municipal election where Steiner, Mayor Yvonne Spicer and District 2 Councilor Cesar-Stewart Morales are all facing challenges in 2021.
"Adam knows that protecting workers is central to progressive values and having a community in which all of our residents can share in economic growth. Adam stood with workers on the issue of wage theft and helped lead the way in adopting local protections for workers who were falling victim to wage theft,"North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters said in a news release, referring to the city's newly passed wage ordinance. "I am proud to stand with Adam in his campaign for re-election."
