“I can’t think of a more deserving honor than Grand Marshal of the Framingham Flag Day Parade for someone who has dedicated himself for more than 40 years to public service,” said Mayor Spicer. “President Harry S. Truman’s 1949 Flag Day Proclamation states ‘We celebrate Flag Day this year with a fresh sense of our strength as a nation,’ and Charlie Sisitsky’s contributions to Framingham have helped lay the foundation for our City’s strength.”
