"Please, bring proof of your COVID vaccines to date & your insurance cards. If you do not have insurance you can still get the vaccine," officials said. "Even if you never received a previous vaccine for COVID this vaccine will protect you from hospitalization and death from COVID-19."
This comes as officials across the country are making a renewed push for people to get an updated vaccine ahead of the holiday season.
Recently, President Joe Biden received a booster, where he spoke both to the effectiveness of the shot and also the vaccination status of the country.
"It’s incredibly effective," Biden said. "But the truth is, not enough people are getting it. We’ve got to change that so we can all have a safe and healthy holiday season."
