Framingham Housing Authority Revamps Its Online Presence

A new website and Facebook page are the newest additions for the FHA, just as the department embarks on some ambitious new projects.

FRAMINGHAM, MA- The Framingham Housing Authority (FHA) announced the launch of its newly redesigned website.

The virtual facelift comes on the heels of the FHA's announcement of some ambitious future projects. Most recently, the FHA announced it would begin a multimillion dollar redevelopment of federal housing located at Carlson Road, Pusan Road and Beaver Street. The completed Golden Triangle study could also mean lots of long term rezoning for the FHA as officials push for more mixed-use zoning in the area. Nobscot has also been on the schedule for rezoning as the city's planning board pushes for a mixed-use district as well, allowing business and residences to give the area a new life.

The redesigned website encompasses a variety of goals focused on creating an accessible and engaging experience for all visitors to the site. The site’s main navigation was changed to enable users to surf through various tabs of valuable information. The updated site meets the Standards for Accessible Design, outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) while remaining easy to read.
