Framingham Man Charged After Firing Gun, Crashing Car
Six shell casings were found on Interfaith Terrace Wednesday, leading to numerous charges for a Framingham man.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — When shots were fired on Interfaith Terrace early Wednesday morning, police relied on a few community members to get to the bottom of what happened.
Officers arrived at the area of 30 Interfaith Terrace around 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday after receiving reports of shots fired.
"With the help of community members cooperating with the investigation, six shell casings were discovered in the area and a description of the suspect vehicle was given to the Officers on the road," police said.

Later that morning, an officer located the car and tried to make a traffic stop. Police said the driver, later identified as Jean De Armas Burgos, fled the stop but crashed the car on Hollis Street.
"Officers observed a male matching the description of the shooter flee from the car into the woods behind the homes along Hollis Street," police said.

"K9 Isco, a dual purpose patrol/narcotics K9 was deployed and quickly tracked the suspect who was hiding in the thick vegetation."
A firearm was recovered from the scene and, according to Framingham Police logs, Jean De Armas Burgos was arrested and charged with a variety of crimes ranging from gun charges to receiving stolen property and gun possession.
