Framingham Man Faces Drug, Gun Charges Following Shrewsbury Stop
A Framingham man faces a number of charges following a traffic stop in Shrewsbury on Saturday, including possession of heroin and cocaine.
SHREWSBURY, MA — A Framingham man faces drug and gun charges following a traffic stop in Shrewsbury early Saturday morning, Shrewsbury police said.
Officers pulled over a car at 845 Hartford Turnpike in Shrewsbury just before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, police said.
Police said Lemuel Pacheco Hernandez, 29, of Framingham, was the driver of the car, and officers suspected him to be under the influence of narcotics.

During the course of the car stop, the driver was found to be in possession of a handgun, suboxone, cocaine, and heroin.
Hernandez didn't have a license to carry the handgun, which was loaded with 19 rounds of ammunition. Another 19 rounds were located in another magazine, police said.

The passenger in the vehicle was also arrested during the stop, police said.
In total, Hernandez faces nine charges stemming from the stop. They are:
- Possession of a firearm without a license
- Carrying a loaded firearm without a license
- Improper storage of large capacity firearm
- Possession of a Class A substance
- Two counts of possession of a Class B substance
- OUI Drugs
- Marked lane Violation
- Invalid Inspection Sticker
