Framingham Man Faces Gun, Drug Charges Stemming From Worcester Arrest

Almost 100 grams of cocaine, a bag filled with fentanyl and a firearm were confiscated from a Framingham man's car and home, police said.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Framingham resident faces multiple gun and drug charges stemming from a Nov. 2 arrest in Worcester, the Worcester police announced this week.

Thiago Teixeira, 36, of Framingham, was arrested after a Worcester Neighborhood Response Team narcotic investigation on Oread Street, in Worcester.

During the investigation, Teixeira was arrested after selling crack cocaine. Inside Teixeria’s vehicle officers found a loaded stolen large-capacity firearm, police said.

The Worcester Police Department then proceeded to obtain a search warrant for Teixeria’s residence on Oread Street.

During the search of the apartment, police seized 94.1 grams of cocaine, a sandwich bag filled with fentanyl, more than $15,921 cash, liquid Methadone, multiple Suboxone strips, paperwork and packaging material, they said.

Teixeria is charged with receiving stolen property over $1,200, possession of a large capacity firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity feeding device and multiple drug possession and trafficking charges.
