Framingham Man Pleads Guilty To Federal Fake ID Charges

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A former Framingham man pleaded guilty to multiple charges this week after he was accused of selling fake documents like Social Security cards and permanent resident IDs. Cristiano Ribeiro De Moura, 32, is now facing more than a decade in prison.
According to prosecutors, Ribeiro De Moura sold fake documents four times between July and August 2019 for $350. He was indicted in October on charges of producing an identification document, Social Security card fraud, and aiding and abetting.
He is set to be sentenced on April 28. The maximum penalty for those charges is 15 years in prison, plus a fine of up to $250,000, according to prosecutors.
