The suspect allegedly went to the victim's home, demanded he give him money and threatened to kill the man's son, according to a report.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Framingham man was arrested last week after he allegedly went to another man's home, armed with a knife and wearing a mask, and demanded the man pay him money or else he would kill the man's teenage son. According to a report, Anthony Lopez, 24, told the victim he was there on behalf of his "boss" to collect thousands of dollars.

During the incident, which happened at a Grant Street home last Wednesday, the victim told police he heard a knock on his door. When he answered, a masked Lopez told the victim that if he didn't pay him between $5,000 and $10,000, he would kill the victim's son, Wicked Local Framingham reports.

The victim was able to subdue Lopez and call police, according to the report. When police arrived, they found Lopez dressed in all black and carrying a folding knife in his pocket. When questioned, Lopez admitted to the extortion attempt.
