Framingham Mayor Sisitsky To Meet With Small Business Group

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky will meet Wednesday with the Framingham Business Association, a networking group composed of dozens of local businesses. But other local business owners not part of FBA are invited to attend.

The Framingham Business Association invites local small business owners to their next monthly meeting to meet and hear from Mayor Charlie Sisitsky. The meeting is Wednesday at noon at La Cantina Italiana, 911 Waverly St. As the city mask mandate is still in effect, please wear a mask.

“Over the past five years, more than 50 local business owners have come together in an effort to make our community a better place to live, learn, work and play,” newly elected FBA President Chris Connolly said. “We convene monthly luncheon meetings to network amongst ourselves, to hear from community leaders about topics of mutual interest, to mobilize to address the concerns of a member or group of members, and to make a difference in Framingham.”

The Framingham Business Association (FBA) was created to promote and protect the value, importance and significance of a thriving business community in the City of Framingham, and to ensure that local businesses' needs are being considered, understood and supported by the residents and government officials.

FBA goals include advocating on behalf of our local business, informing and educating the public and government of the essentials which local businesses require to succeed and thrive, and promoting the continual benefits and value which our local businesses provide to the City of Framingham.
