After the deadline, the Mayor will be nominating two individuals for the Committee. The City Council will review the nominations within 30 days. If no action is taken, within 30 days, the nominations are automatic.

The Mayor will be nominating an individual for a seat that expires on June 30, 2027, in May. Interested applicants can submit an application now. The deadline for that seat is April 30.

The Committee oversees an Elderly & Disabled Taxation Fund, which is used to defray real estate taxes of elderly and disabled persons of low income. Eligible individuals submit applications to the Committee.
