Framingham Storm Central: Parking Ban Issued

UPDATED: Governor Charlie Baker has asked that motorists stay of the road as of midnight. He did not institite a state-wide driving ban, however.

Framingham already has 4.5 inches of snow as of 8 p.m. Snow is expected to continue falling through the end of the day Sunday, Feb. 15.

For that reason, a Town-wide parking ban will be in effect now (8 p.m.) until further notice.

Due to the narrow width of the secondary roadways, any vehicles that are impeding snow plow equipment during the storm will be subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.

During a weather emergency parking ban, parking is prohibited on all arterial roads. These roads are posted with red and white signs.

CLOSINGS & Postponements:

  • Due to the expected inclement weather, the Mount Wayte Recycling Center will be closed on Sunday,Feb. 15
  • Loring Arena will be closed beginning Sunday, Feb. until further notice.
  • St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church: All services, classes, and meetings cancelled Sunday.
