Framingham's Devin A Master Builder

Especially when Legos and Batman are involved!

Devin Suau, the inspirational youngster who has made national headlines as he and his family fight against a rare disease, continues to build support. And Legos.

Devin, all of 6 years old, was Legoland Discover Center Boston's "Master Model Builder for the Day" this past Saturday during the Lego Batman Movie Day.

Devin and his family had a private tour with usual Master Model Builer Megan Amaral, a meet and greet with Lego Batman himself, built some gadgets, and was presented with his own #WhyNotDevin Lego build - a homage to the rallying cry hashtag that has been used in support of Devin and his family overcoming long odds.

"Devin is an amazing kid and I was so glad to spend some time showing him and his family our LEGO Batman activities," said Amaral, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston Master Model Builder. "We'll be spreading the word about Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) by using his #whynotdevin on our social media channels in hopes they find a cure to help Devin."

Devin's visit was arranged by Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation, which provides special days for sick or disabled children at Merlin Entertainments attractions worldwide.
