Gordon Would Be Helpful D5 City Councilor: Letter
In a letter, Keith Nelson describes why he's voting for District 5 Council candidate Cheryl Gordon.

The following is a letter to the editor and does not reflect the views of Framingham Patch.
Earlier during election season, I endorsed my friend and former co-worker, Cheryl Gordon, for City Council in District 5.
When I need to know what is happening with a project anywhere in Framingham, Cheryl not only knows the status, but is also informed about what to expect moving forward. She knows the intricacies and political components involved so that I will have a solid idea of what to expect. Just a few weeks ago I had an issue and mentioned it to Cheryl; she knew exactly who I should talk to in order to have the city resolve the issue. I didn’t have to wait for her to research it, she just knew. This is part of the knowledge that can only be achieved by having participated and attended meetings and being informed and involved the way Cheryl has been.

I read a letter this past weekend where someone who is not a D5 resident wrote something to the effect that the number of meetings a person has attended is irrelevant. I completely disagree with that sentiment. I want a City Councilor who has a presence, relevant knowledge, and influence at meetings to help District 5 be the best it can be.
Both District 5 candidates have been good community volunteers in varying ways at varying times, but District 5 needs someone who is ready to take on the City Council role. I'm confident that Cheryl Gordon is that person. If you watch the District 5 forums, Cheryl produces original and helpful responses that shows she is ready to represent District 5.
