Grand Opening Set For Framingham Community Corrections Center
The Howard Street community corrections center offers counseling and education services for people on probation or leaving prison.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Local elected officials will gather in Framingham on Friday for the grand opening of a community corrections center aimed at helping people exit the criminal justice system. The center opened over the summer along Howard Street.
The Framingham center is one of 18 across the state — a 19th is set to open soon in Franklin — and offers services like counseling, drug testing, and classes to study for the Massachusetts high school equivalency degree.
The center will serve a wide range of people, from those on probation to members of the veterans' treatment court.
