UPDATED: Groundhog Day Storm Could Drop Another Foot of Snow
The National Weather Service is predicting a "significant snowfall" on Sunday night and through Monday.

The National Weather Service is predicting a “significant snowfall” on Sunday night and through Monday, Feb. 2, which also happens to be Groundhog Day.
The Weather Service said 8-12 inches of snow is possible.

Snow will fall heaviest during the day on Monday before tapering off on Monday night.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch from 7 p.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Tuesday for Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Travel could be “hazardous” on Monday with blowing and drifting snow likely. Winds may gust up to 35 mph, according to the Weather Service.
