Half-Mile Litter Cleanup In Framingham This Weekend
Framingham volunteers will fan out along a long stretch of Hollis Street on Saturday.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A group of Framingham volunteers will fan out across a more than half-mile stretch of Hollis Street this weekend for a litter cleanup.
The event is being organized by members of the Clean Up Framingham group, which formed during the pandemic as a way for local residents to help their community, get some fresh air and socialize safely.
This Saturday's event is a continuation of one held last weekend, when volunteers picked up litter between the Ashland line and Winthrop Street along Hollis — a 0.7-mile distance. This weekend's event will cover Winthrop Street to downtown Framingham.
