Help Bring a Bookmobile To Framingham

Bookmobile Focus of Framingham Public Library Foundation's Latest Fund Raising Goal

What if everything you love about the Framingham Public Library – books, music, videos, great reference materials, wi-fi, access to the Minuteman Library Network, and its helpful and knowledgeable staff – could travel throughout Framingham?

A bookmobile will make that happen.

The goal of the foundation’s new fund raising campaign is to purchase and equip a bookmobile, to bring library services to Framingham residents, particularly seniors and children, who may not be able to get to the library as easily or as often as they would like.

The fund raising goal of $150,000 will pay for the bookmobile vehicle, its books, videos, and other materials, the latest technology, and all the necessary accessories to make it a true library-on-wheels, including a lift for wheelchair accessibility – plus two years of vehicle maintenance costs.

And because of the generosity of an anonymous donor, all donations made by individuals through
February 15, 2018 will be matched 100%, up to a total of $20,000. Every dollar you give will be doubled.
