IMAGE GALLERY: Flyers Skate Past Tigers 8-1

The Framingham High boys ice hockey team hosted Newton North Wednesday at Loring Arena. The Flyers won 8-1.

The team dedicated the game to benefit the American Cancer Society, as part of the coaches vs cancer program.

All proceeds from a chuck-a-puck were donated to the American Cancer Society to assist in their goal of creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Fans also were encouraged to wear pink to the game.
