Last Day To Register To Vote In Framingham September Primary
The 2021 Framingham Sept. 14 primary will feature District 7 City Council and mayoral candidates.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — If you want to participate in the Sept. 14 primary — which in Framingham will feature mayoral and City Council candidates — you only have until the end of the day to register to vote.
The good news: it's very easy to register and can be done online. Visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth's website to either register or check that you are registered.
In Framingham, voters will go to the polls next month to narrow the field in two races: Framingham mayor and City Council District 7.

The District 7 primary is wide open after sitting Councilor Margareth Shepard announced earlier this year that she's stepping down. The four candidates running are Magda Janus, Eugene Grzywna, Joseph Hansberry and Leora Rose Mallach.
The mayoral primary will feature a contest between incumbent Mayor Yvonne Spicer, former councilor Charlie Sisitsky and Brazilian Immigrants Family of America founder Carlos Valadares.

Two candidates from each race will go on to compete in the November general election. You can find your polling place on the City Clerk's website.
