Joining the conversation will include three leaders in K-12 who each bring considerable experience and diverse perspectives when it comes to discussing healthy relationships in our classrooms: John Doherty, a recently retired Superintendent; Beverly Hugo, an elected member of the Framingham School Committee; and Megara Bell, a long time educator as well as founder and director of Partners in Sex Education. The discussion aims to be a “round-table discussion” open to teachers, administrators, and school committee members to discuss what schools are doing to teach healthy relationships, the resources available to educators and school leadership to brainstorm “In a Perfect World” curriculum models for teaching healthy relationships in our schools.
The event, which will take place on Zoom, is free and open to the public. All are welcome. Please visit our Eventbrite page.
