Latest Jack's Abby WhyNotDevin Fundraiser Nets $6,500
In November and December, Jack's Abby donated proceeds from the sale of its most popular beer to the cancer charity.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Even with pandemic-related closures, an annual Jack's Abby fundraiser for a local cancer charity raised a tidy sum off of the brewery's flagship beer.
Each November and December, Jack's Abby and Atlantic Beverage Distributors partner to donate proceeds from the sale of House Lager beer to the WhyNotDevin cancer charity. At the end of 2020, the fundraiser netted $6,500.
The brewer presented WhyNotDevin founder — and mother of Devin Suau — Christine Suau with the check. The money goes toward researching diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), which took Devin's life in 2017.

"2020 was a challenging year, but we couldn't have gotten through it without the support from our community. Even with our challenges, it has remained a priority to us to continue helping our neighbors," Jack's Abby cofounder Sam Hendler said in a statement.
The 2019 fundraiser netted $9,500, although the Jack's Abby taproom has been closed this winter due to the pandemic.
