League Of Women Voters Hold Voting Registration Event With Purple Passion Run
There's a very important election coming up in Framingham. Are you registered to vote?

FRAMINGHAM, MA—With an important election coming up in Framingham, the Framingham Unit of the League of Women Voters in partnership with the Rho Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, is making it even easier to register to vote.
The League registers voters on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 from 7–10 a.m. at the Purple Passion 5K Run/Walk 2017 at SMOC Headquarters, 7 Bishop St. in Framingham. You do not have to be a participant in the Race/Walk to take advantage of this opportunity to register to vote.
The deadline to register to vote in any election in Massachusetts is 20 days prior to the date of the election.

The election in Framingham for its first mayor and 11 city councilors, as well as 9 school committee members, takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The Purple Passion event also offers face painting and other child friendly activities.
