LWV Framingham Mayoral, Council Candidate Forums: When To Watch
The League of Women Voters of Framingham and Framingham Patch are cohosting four candidate forums this weekend.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A main event of Framingham's 2021 political season will take place this weekend with the League of Women Voters of Framingham (LWV) hosting forums with candidates running for mayor and City Council.
In 2021, the mayor's seat and all district Council seats are up for election. This weekend's forums will begin Saturday afternoon with mayoral candidates Charlie Sisitsky and incumbent Mayor Yvonne Spicer. The mayoral forum will be followed by the District 2, District 3 and District 5 candidates.

The forums will be broadcast live on RCN channel 3, RCN HD channel 1100, Verizon channel 43, Comcast channel 9 and on the LWV Framingham Facebook page. Here's the schedule:

Saturday
- Mayoral forum with Charlie Sisitsky and Yvonne Spicer (i): 2:05 p.m.
- District 2 City Council forum with Jacob Binnall and Cesar Stewart-Morales (i): 3:05 p.m.
- District 3 City Council forum with MK Feeney and Adam Steiner (i): 4:05 p.m.
Sunday
- District 5 City Council forum with Noval Alexander and Cheryl Gordon: 2 p.m.
There are two candidates running for the District 9 seat, including incumbent Tracey Bryant, but challenger Edgardo Torres was not could be reached by either phone or email to set up a time to participate in a forum. In the District 7 race, candidate Magda Janus was not available this weekend, so a forum will happen later in October.
The remaining City Council seats in Districts 1, 4, 6 and 8 are uncontested in 2021.
