Aneudy Delgado-Torres was arrested in Marlborough and charged with the murders of James "Manny" Wade, 45, and his son, James Wade, 24.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Police arrested and charged a Framingham man with two counts of murder following the fatal shooting of a father and son Friday night in Framingham. The man was identified as Aneudy Delgado-Torres, 39 and he was arrested at the Embassy Suite hotel in Marlborough on Tuesday, Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said.
Ryan said James "Manny" Wade, 45, and his son, James Wade, 24, planned to meet someone they knew in the parking lot of Pelham Apartments Friday night. Delgado-Torres starting shooting at the pair, Ryan said. The apartment complex is at 2nd and Beaver streets.
Officials said it was unclear why the group was meeting in the area but added that the parking lot is known to police as an area where drug transactions are made. Ryan highlighted that recently there has been a competition between two groups of drug dealers for control over the area. She stressed that the motive for the shooting is unknown.

Ryan added the shooting was especially worrisome due to the threat it posed to the community. Delgado-Torres fired several shots, one of which went through an apartment door into the interior of the house above where a 4-year-old child was sleeping, Ryan said.
In addition to the two counts of murder, Delgado-Torres was charged with possession of a large-capacity magazine, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition. Delgado-Torres will be arraigned in Framingham on Wednesday.
