MetroWest Drug Task Force Seizes Cache Of Opioids

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Local police in the MetroWest Drug Taskforce served two warrants this week, seizing a gun, a variety of drugs and cash, according to Framingham police.

During one search, police confiscated about 170 grams of fentanyl, cocaine, nearly two dozen opioid pills, $3,000 and a gun. The second warrant returned about 1,400 grams of fentanyl, Framingham police said.

The MetroWest Drug Task Force is comprised of police from Framingham, Natick, Ashland and Marlborough, and typically works with state police and the Middlesex County District Attorney during investigations.
