MetroWest Raises More Than $34,000 in Memory of Eddie Kramer

Eddie Kramer, 18 months old, died this week. In 48 hours, MetroWest raised money to build a dog park in the little boy's name.

But in less than 48, hours MetroWest families raised more than $34,000 in his name to build a dog park in Natick.

“Eddie loved people, dogs and the outdoors. It is only fitting that we honor his life by helping to build a dog park that we know would have made him squeal with delight. A dog park will bring so much joy to the town of Natick - the only home Eddie ever knew and the place where he spent a happy, fulfilling but all too short 18 months,” stated a YouCaring.com fund.

FIDO of Natick Inc., a 401C non-profit organization, was seeking community support for the town’s first off-leash dog park. The Kramer family decided to set up a fund to support FIDO’s plan in memory of their son.The goal was to raise $25,000. The goal was exceeded. As of midnight, Sunday, Nov. 16, almost $35,000 had been raised.
