More Gun Charges For MA Man In Framingham Traffic Stop
A "repeat gun offender" is charged after troopers recovered a pistol and silencer during a Framingham traffic stop, the State Police said.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Route 90 traffic stop in Framingham resulted in more weapons charges for a man who State Police are calling a "repeat gun offender."
Robert Cephas, 30, of Webster, was stopped while going 85 mph on Route 90 by a State Police Trooper on Monday, officials said.
Though Cephas didn't have his license on him, the trooper was able to identify him based off information Cephas recited, and found that he had a suspended driver’s license and multiple felony arrest warrants.

Additional troopers arrived on the scene to arrest Cephas, and his car was searched. During the search, officers found a loaded .22 caliber Taurus pistol, which Cephas didn't have a license to carry. Also found in the search were two loaded magazines, additional ammunition and a silencer, officials said.
Cephas had bail set at $150,000, and is charged with the following:
