MutualOne To Sponsor Family Promise 2015 Walk Away Homelessness Walkathon
This will be the third consecutive year MutualOne has been the event sponsor.

Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and a MutualOne Charitable Foundation trustee, has announced a Foundation award of $5,000 to Family Promise Metrowest as sponsor of the organization’s 6th Annual Walk Away Homelessness Walkathon in April.
This will be the third consecutive year MutualOne has been the event sponsor. The Bank is also a Family Promise Metrowest Community Partner.
Based in Natick, Family Promise Metrowest is a cooperative, interfaith partnership offering hope to homeless families with children through safe transitional shelter, meals, and supportive case management as they seek permanent housing.

“Many people are unaware that there are so many homeless families right in our own community,” said Haranas. “We are pleased to help Family Promise Metrowest provide support and encouragement that can make all the difference in the world for these families.”
The grant to Family Promise Metrowest was among awards totaling $85,350 in the Foundation’s most recent round of funding.

Since it was established in 1998, the MutualOne Charitable Foundation has donated over $3 million to charitable, educational, and civic initiatives that improve and enhance the quality of life in Framingham, Natick, and surrounding communities.
