New Framingham Coronavirus Case Found
The new presumptive positive COVID-19 case in Framingham is in a person who lives with another person who tested positive.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham officials said on Saturday that another city resident has tested positive for the new coronavirus, COVID-19. The person lives with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week.
The person has been under quarantine since March 11. Health officials have tracked down everyone they came into contact with, and those people are now in quarantine.
The city's first case came on Wednesday when officials said a parent of a child at Potter Park Elementary tested presumptive positive. That person's child had contact with at least 95 other people, including students and staff at two Framingham schools.
