FRAMINGHAM, MA — With a little less than a month left in school, awards and recognition season is here and the Framingham High School auditorium was packed with student athletes being honored. From seniors closing their high school career to the freshman following in their footsteps, awards and accolades were distributed in every direction.

Sitting in the auditorium without their jerseys and gear, the student athletes looked more like humbled, giddy kids — and their parents and coaches matched their energy. In total, eight scholarships were awarded to 11 students, some scholarships accepted more than one applicant.

Recognitions took up the greater part of the night, with almost every team getting a shoutout and students receiving mentions for most valuable player, most improved teams, community service and plenty more.
