UPDATED: Pit Bull Pup Lost Near Callahan State Park

The pit-bull mix pup, just a year old, was reported lost on Wednesday.

UPDATED: Thursday night, the the missing pup was spotted near Belknap Road and Pleasant Street (Route 30) near Brophy Elementary School. Spotters reported she is no longer dragging her lead. If you see her call 508-494-1663 or 508-877-0305.

A Western Massachusetts woman posted on a Facebook missing dog site her pit pull dog, named Enya, just a year old, is missing near Callahan State Park.

The Facebook post describes the 40-pound pup as shy. She said the dog, a reddish-tan pit bull mix is not familiar with the area.

When the dog got loose she was wearing a a tan paisley collar and was dragging a 20-foot green lead. A family member was walking the pup on Wednesday, when she got loose.
