ASHLAND, MA — Talk about a sewer blockage.

A small raccoon got his head stuck in the opening of a sewer grate in an Ashland neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. A resident discovered the raccoon's head poking out of the grate along Stagecoach Lane. He called police to come take a look.

Ashland Sgt. Chris Alberini and Department of Public Works employee Paul McGinnis responded to the scene. They removed the sewer grate from the street with the raccoon dangling from it.
