Robin Spielberg Concert Sunday Benefits Call2Talk Program

The charity event commemorates Call2Talk's first year of service providing emotional support to those who are isolated and despairing.

Robin Spielberg, one of America’s most beloved pianists/composers, will take the stage for a benefit concert on Sunday, Dec. 7 at The Center for the Arts in Natick (TCAN) for local helpline and crisis center Call2Talk.

The charity event will commemorate Call2Talk’s first year of service providing emotional support to those who are isolated, despairing and who may also be in crisis.

Robin Spielberg is a pianist, composer, and recording artist well known for her expressive, lyrical performances. Her albums bring traditional, classic, original and popular music to life in piano solos and piano-based ensembles. Entertaining audiences with humor and inspired tales, extraordinary piano technique and a heartfelt performance, Spielberg is in the top echelon of contemporary composer/pianists.

Eileen Davis, Spielberg’s sister, is the Director of MetroWest’s Call2Talk.

With close to 30 years of experience operating crisis centers, Davis, with the support of the United Way of Tri-County, created Call2Talk to assist individuals and families through stressful times in their lives.

“Call2Talk is there to help people who have lost hope or who may be suicidal,” Davis said. “December is often a difficult month for people who are struggling. Money raised from this benefit will help to bring awareness about our services, fund much-needed educational outreach programs and expand our helpline.”

The Sunday matinee, which begins at 3 p.m., will feature music from her best-selling recordings and stories from her award-winning memoir, Naked on the Bench: My Adventures in Pianoland.

The afternoon’s host is Natick native and Framingham resident David O’Leary, who is the morning co-host on Magic 106.7.

There is a $50 VIP party and tickets are $30 each. VIP party starts at 2. Concert at 3.
