Support For Steiner In Framingham D3 Race: Letters
Framingham residents, including former councilor Robert Case and former city clerk Valerie Mulvey, write in support of Steiner in D3.

The following letters do not reflect the views of Framingham Patch
Having worked directly with both candidates, either on the City Council or SIFOC, the clear choice for District 3 is Adam Steiner. Framingham is best served when there is a diversity of opinions. I have witnessed how Adam has effectively used his independent voice. He stands up to proposals when he believes they are not in the best interest of his district and Framingham.
Adam has experience we can trust. He also has perspective as a parent of children in our public schools. I encourage the voters of District 3 to re-elect Adam Steiner.

My Canadian mother came to Framingham in 1964. In 2000, she obtained U.S. citizenship solely so she could vote. She now votes by absentee but suddenly became unable to sign her name. Efforts to help her write on a straight line failed. Despite thinking her voting days were behind her, I gave her the envelope and prayed. Her signature was perfect! After I voted, I texted my brother, whose sole interest was the mayoral race, asking him to vote for Steiner. Our candidate won by two votes. Whenever I hear someone say “My vote doesn’t count” I’ll share this story.

We are writing to express our strong support for the campaign of Adam Steiner to be re-elected to the Framingham City Council representing District 3. As residents and former town officials in Framingham for decades, we have come to know Adam, his family, and most importantly his work as City Councilor and have found him to be a dedicated and thoughtful public servant. Adam’s ties to Framingham run deep. He grew up here, graduated from Framingham North High School, and is raising his family here. His parents and in-laws, the Dunnes, live here. He has his children enrolled in Framingham schools. Adam was an active and engaged town meeting member when Valerie was Framingham Town Clerk and has been an excellent City Councilor. On Jan .11, please cast your ballot for Adam Steiner for City Councilor for District 3.
