The two hate symbols were found carved on a sign at the Pamela Road temple Thursday, just hours after the end of Rosh Hashanah.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham police are investigating a hate incident after two swastikas were found carved on a sign at Temple Beth Sholom on Thursday morning.
The discovery by passersby at the Pamela Road temple was made in between two of the most important Jewish holidays. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year celebration, ended Wednesday. Yom Kippur begins in the evening on Sept. 15.
Mayor Yvonne Spicer and candidate Charlie Sisitsky both highlighted the timing of the vandalism.
