Blockbuster, next to Stop &amp; Shop, is closing. The Temple Street store stopped rentals yesterday. The store will shut its doors on Sunday, Feb. 13. It is selling off its DVD collection. Blockbuster announced in Dec. 2010 that it would close about 70 stores in December andother 180 in the first quarter of 2011 The company has been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since Sept. 2010. Blockbuster had already closed almost 1,000 stores priort to Dec. 2010.
