Tufts Medical Center Expands Neurology To Framingham
Patients in Framingham and Wellesley will now have treatment options at Tufts Medical Center.

FRAMINGHAM, MA- Tufts Medical Center announced that it has expanded its neurology services westward, as Tufts MC neurologists will now see patients in Framingham and Wellesley.
“We saw an unmet need for additional neurological consultations in the community, and we are extremely excited that our highly-skilled neurologists will be able to provide those services at our new Framingham and Wellesley locations,” said David Thaler, MD, PhD, Neurologist-in-Chief at Tufts Medical Center. “We are committed to keeping high-quality care in the community whenever possible, and offering neurology appointments close to home is another example of how we are committed to always thinking ahead for our patients.”
Known as Neurological Services PC for the past several decades, Tufts Medical Center Neurology offers a wide range of neurological services, including general neurology, sleep medicine, neuromuscular disease, epilepsy and cerebrovascular disease. Tufts MC neurologist Kristen Babinski, MD, will bring subspecialty expertise in multiple sclerosis, while Tufts MC neurologists Taha Bali, MD and Oscar Soto, MD, will provide specialized consultations in neuromuscular disease and Electromyography (EMG). These physicians will complement the new Tufts MC team members, neurologists Zahra Ayub MD, Ludmila Fridman MD, Flavia Machado, MD and Lina Zaslavsky, MD, to provide neurological care to patients in the Metrowest area. Tufts Medical Center Neurology will continue to care for its current patients, and is now accepting new patients.

In addition, two new neurologists are now available to see patients at Tufts Medical Center Specialty Center-Wellesley and assess patients with general neurology complaints. Tufts MC neurologists Bryan Ho, MD and Henry Querfurth, MD, join Tufts MC physicians who are already providing highly specialized services to patients in Wellesley and neighboring communities. Dr. Ho specializes in movement disorders, including tremor and Parkinson Disease. Dr. Querfurth is an expert in cognitive/behavioral neurology, which includes dementia-related illnesses like Alzheimer Disease.
