VIDEOS & SLIDESHOW: Framingham Residents Join 'World Rhythms' Band

Music connected senior citizens, parents and children with a musician and a West African dancer Wednesday afternoon at Wilson Elementary.

Music can connect people.

The free event was presented by the Framingham Public Library at Wilson Elementary School.

Not only did Vacca pound our beats, but he invited audience members to be a part of the band.

The goal of the Senegal-America project is to ”bring people together in meaningful collaborations that create transformational responses to what we share of common issues and common ground.”
