Deadline To Register To Vote To Participate in City of Framingham Election is Saturday, October 28; City Election is Tuesday, November 7
FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham will hold a municipal election on Tuesday, November 7.
If you wish to vote, you must be registered by Saturday, October 28 by 5 p.m.
Voters will elect 11 City Councilors, 9 District School Committee members, six Library Trustees, and two Cemetery Trustees in November 2023.
Most of the races are uncontested, including all 9 District School Committee seats for a 2-year term. Both Cemetery Trustee seats are uncontested for a 4-year term.
The at-large City Council seats for 4 years are uncontested, also.
Three of the nine City Council seats for a 2-year term are contested. Those races are in District 2, 8, and 9.

There is no in-person early voting for the November 7, 2023 city election, said City Clerk Lisa Ferguson.
Paper vote by mail applications are available at the City Clerk’s Office, Callahan Senior Center, Main Library, McAuliffe Library

There is a new voting option.
The City Clerk announced the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is providing an Accessible Remote Ballot Marking System which is compatible with screen readers for eligible disabled voters.
If you are blind or have a vision impairment, have a mobility or dexterity disability, or have another disability that makes it difficult for you to independently and privately mark a paper ballot, you can request an accessible vote by mail ballot.
This System, which uses the Omni Ballot platform from Democracy Live, is compatible with screen readers, allowing voters who are blind, have low vision, or dexterity or other disabilities to participate in vote-by-mail and absentee voting privately and independently.
If you are eligible and wish to use the Accessible Vote by Mail system, please complete Accessible Vote by Mail Online Portal Application (state.ma.us).
