FRAMINGHAM, MA — The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Framingham and Patch will co-host a live forum Wednesday night featuring the two candidates running for the open District 7 City Council seat.

Leora Mallach and Magda Janus were the top two vote-getters in the four-way Sept. 14 primary. Mallach came out ahead with 244 votes to Janus' 126. One of them will replace Margareth Shepard, the two-term District 7 Councilor who announced her retirement from City Council in May.

Wednesday's forum will be the fifth hosted by the LWV and Framingham Patch since the primary.
