This Is What The 'Eversource' Scam Sounds Like: Framingham Police

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Framingham police are warning residents of a scam that's hitting the area.

The department received three reports on Thursday of a scam where "someone from Eversource" is demanding money, gift cards, money orders or other forms of payment.

"If you receive a billing call from a service provider, hang up and call your normal customer service line," said police. "Do not have the caller transfer you to a manager or customer service rep."
