His appointment comes as demand for food assistance grows, and he’ll help guide programs like curbside distribution, mobile pantries, and home delivery that support vulnerable Franklin neighbors.
   

• It's BIG and it's Coming Sept 12 (town.news) — Franklin’s Senior Center is turning into a bargain-hunter’s destination with a public yard sale on Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donations from across the community will be sold to support programs the town budget doesn’t cover, and the sale will move indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
   

• Franklin Garden Club Kicks Off Season with Program on Bitters - Tuesday, Sep 1 (correct date) (franklinmatters.org) — Franklin gardeners and health-curious residents are invited to the Franklin Garden Club’s season kickoff on Tuesday, September 1, at the Franklin Senior Center, featuring a program on bitters and digestive health.
