• Freetown Lakeville, Rochester, Dartmouth Fire Departments respond to vehicle fire that destroys home (fallriverreporter.com) — A Freetown home on Chace Road was destroyed Sunday night after a vehicle caught fire in the garage, forcing four residents to evacuate; one suffered a back injury. Freetown firefighters, aided by Lakeville, Rochester, and Dartmouth crews, brought the blaze under control in under 40 minutes, and the displaced family is now staying with relatives while the cause is investigated.
