• Fishermen hone safety skills (cnhi.com) — Commercial fishermen recently sharpened their emergency skills at Coast Guard Station Gloucester on Harbor Loop, completing a free two-day safety and drill conductor course tailored to one of the nation’s most dangerous jobs. Participants practiced man-overboard recovery, firefighting, flooding control, and more, leaving certified to meet Coast Guard drill requirements and even eligible for a rebate on new life jackets.
